HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

Mimi and Papa took the fam out to celebrate Mommy's birthday at the fabulous Pappas Bros. Steakhouse this weekend.

Mini Mac swipes a strawberry, while Fayte blows out Mommy's candle. They're quick!

Back at the house with the little man

The next morning, we went out for some authentic NY fare from Cindi's Deli. No matter that the sandwich was bigger than his head, Hudson's at it again.

Fayte's soccer game was cancelled this weekend due to near-freezing temperatures (not a typo) so her brother cheered her up with a couple of joyrides around the house.

FAYTE SIGNS WITH MEAN GREEN

It's official. Fayte is wearing the #5 for the Mean Green this Spring. We went to pick up her jersey today and Dad was a little disappointed that Fayte didn't pick his collegiate jersey number, but found consolation in the fact that it is Joe Dimaggio's number. We could not be more excited to see her release some of that crazy energy this season on the soccer field....or is it football pitch? Who cares, as long as it tires her out!

Unfortunately, she's gotten into a habit of performing ridiculous celebration dances after winning at things like Candy Land. She claims to be perfecting a celebration for after her first goal. Guess T.O.'s antics must've rubbed off on her.

And speaking of "signing," we are pleased to announce that after a pretty thorough application process, Fayte was accepted to the prestigious Grace Academy in Dallas next year! Our first choice. Phew! To celebrate, Daddy's going to ditch work to take her out to Opening Day this year for some 1-on-1 baseball watching and nacho/hot dog/cotton candy eating. Anyway, we'll send out her soccer season schedule soon in case you're in town. GO GREEN!

SPRING BREAK

As you can see here, the two little monsters were getting pretty cooped up at the house with Mommy and Daddy working so hard. So, when Spring Break arrived, we decided to celebrate by heading to Austin to celebrate cousin Ada's birthday on ice.

Aunt Michelle, Hudson and Michelle Kwan???

The fam after a few laps. Fayte did pretty well for her first time (video coming soon). Mom was a different story, but hey, no falls!

That night, Ong Noi treated all of us to a night at the fabulous Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. Here's Fayte practicing her riding at the restaurant.

She grew tired of riding a fake horse so we took her to the Dallas Zoo to ride Clio the pony!

Hudson got his own ride

The giraffes were here this time though Dad may have scared them off with his guns!

Set sail for Cheddar Bay! Hudson steals his first taste of bread off the table at "The Lob"

And here he is burning off those carbs on our treadmill

Random Hudson shot

Peace!
