CHICKEN N SPRINKLES

The holidays are in the air and the kids are acting sweeter than usual so we decided to reward them with a trip to the park, and fam favorites: Babe's Chicken Dinner House (a family-style southern fried chicken equivalent to Salt Lick BBQ in DFW) and Sprinkles Cupcakes (of LA fame). Love this time of year.

WORK IT!

It was a busy weekend this week that was highlighted by a photoshoot with our good friend and amazing photographer Vanessa Gavalya. You may have seen her work in fashion mags, ads for Dell, Pepsi and Pizza Hut or if you're a country fan, George Strait's CD. We're very thankful to be able to spend the morning hamming it up for her camera. Those shots are coming soon. In the meantime, here's a behind the scenes look at Fayte working it on the applebox.

Oh and it's still cold here in Dallas. Colder than it is back in NY! Here's Hudson enjoying the North Texas snow for the first time a couple weeks ago. He was absolutely THRILLED that morning.

Our first mobile blog post comes from Taco Joint in Dallas where 90% of the clientele are clad in burnt orange and KGSR is playing on the radio. Real breakfast tacos and a real Longhorn gameday atmosphere. Hookem!

During the week off, we also went to Babe's Chicken Dinner House


Known as the best fried chicken in Dallas, its served family-style. It's like the chicken version of Salt Lick BBQ. Ah-maze-ing.

But he warmed up to it after it came to a stop

FROM THE BALLPARK TO JURASSIC PARK: FAYTE TURNS 4

Fayte turned 4 this week and the Yankees were the first to deliver her a gift by winning their 27th world series. She was very excited to be able to stay up late and watch....so was Champ.

That weekend, we took Fayte out to celebrate on a safari adventure!

After the safari adventure, we visited Dinosaur Valley State Park since Fayte is currently studying and interested in dinosaurs at school.

We capped the day off with a visit to the Ranch House in Glen Rose, one of Texas's top BBQ restaurants according to Texas Monthly.
