TURKEY (AND VENISON) DAY!

This year's holiday weekend started out in the beautiful and relaxing Hill Country of Central Texas. Thanks to a very successful hunt with Uncle Patrick, the family was blessed with not only a wonderful turkey at Aunt Michelle's but also some excellent venison (which was the main course during the inaugural feast between the Pilgrims and Indians). Great times, great food and great memories (including an early morning freezing water rescue of a buck).

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

It's been a while since we've blogged and that's probably because we've been busy taking advantage of all the time off this summer. Visiting family in Austin, swimming with friends, going to the zoo and our family tradition of celebrating July 4th in beautiful Lakeway. We're halfway through an incredible summer.
