Daddy recently returned home from working in LA to a great birthday week that included going to a Stars hockey game with Fayte, some Lent-friendly crawfish dinners, and a fabulous BBQ smoker!

Daddy was working hard in LA
And had to eat awful food like this Frosted Flakes coated French Toast at his hotel!
The same hotel that had a girl in a glass cage behind the front desk!
And he had to eat those awful hot dogs from Pinks!
But at least Aunt Yvonne was there, who celebrated her birthday recently too! Happy Birthday!

While Daddy was in LA, Fayte was performing for Mimi in a recital at Grace Academy! Hopefully we can get a video up soon.
When Daddy got back, we celebrated with CRAWFISH!

They're much better cooked!
MUCH better.
Daddy also got tickets to the Stars game!

GO STARS!
Daddy also got a new BBQ smoker so we put it to use right away!
Brisket, sausage and ribs!
Where's the tasty smell coming from Champ?
Daddy teaches Fayte and Hudson how to cook a brisket like a real Texan
The result complete with Harold's BBQ sauce out of Abilene. Thanks Cousin Connor!
That wasn't the only BBQ Daddy had this week. His work took him out for BEER CAN chicken! Only in TX.
Speaking of Texas, the family recently went boot shopping!
